Chelan, Washington.
Welcome to the Lake Chelan Shore to Shore Marathon, Marathon Relay, Half-Marathon and 10K, Washingtons’ premier destination marathon event!
The Lake Chelan Valley sits in central Washington State, nestled in the North Cascades National Forest. The Chelan Valley encompasses the communities of Chelan, Manson & Stehekin. This pristine, 50.5 mile glacier-fed lake is 1.5 miles at its widest and 1486 ft. at its deepest point. The population of the valley consists of 10,000 year-round residents and several hundred more part-time residents.
The event is back this year, with a new team of race directors from the RunWenatchee team. The RunWenatchee team is very excited to be working with the Lake Chelan Chamber of Commerce and directing the event. BuDu Racing, from Seattle, will be chip timing this event.
The course is a USATF certified course for the Marathon and Half Marathon (i.e Boston or New York qualifer!) with beautiful views of Lake Chelan, the Chelan Mountains, many wineries and much more!
